Important Home Energy Savings program changes – August 10, 2020
Pacific Power is planning changes to the Home Energy Savings program in California that will be effective September 24, 2020. The changes are intended to update the program to improve consistency with other energy efficiency programs statewide. The program changes affect incentives for lighting, HVAC, weatherization (insulation), appliances, energy savings kits (lighting, showerheads and faucet aerators), heat pump water heaters and new homes, View Exhibit 1 – Explanation of Changes and Exhibit 2- Home Energy Savings Incentive Tables Red-lined to see the changes.

Efficient light fixtures turn on the savings
Receive discount pricing on qualified light fixtures and see the savings on your electricity bill. Many ENERGY STAR® light fixtures are designed for long-lasting LED bulbs, which offer superior performance and up to 75 percent greater efficiency than ordinary incandescent bulbs. Efficient light fixtures are available in hundreds of decorative styles and hard-wired options and include all the convenient features you’ve come to expect.
Qualifications & Incentives
- Light fixtures must be ENERGY STAR qualified
- Available for purchase from participating retailers
- Torchiere and portable fixtures do not qualify
- Incentive not to exceed purchase price
Not all ENERGY STAR® light fixtures qualify. Please reference our Participating Retailers list for information on discounted fixtures available at each retailer.
Incentives are subject to California Page Utilities Commission approval and may change with 45 days notice. Additional terms and conditions may apply.
Customer Eligibility
Residential electric customers residing in the state of California who purchase their electricity from Pacific Power on rate schedules D, DL-6, DS-8, DM-9 or NEM-35 qualify. Landlords who own rental properties served by the company in the state of California where the tenant is billed on rate schedules D, DL-6, DS-8, DM-9 or NEM-35 also qualify for this program. You can locate your rate schedule on your bill or by calling 1-888-221-7070. Incentive checks are only issued in the name of the Pacific Power account holder.
